Yikes! Did not realize it\u2019s been so long since I\u2019ve updated here. Sorry \u2019bout that, folks. As usual, it\u2019s nuts here. Been working on several deadlines as well as continuing my work on the 2012 George R. R. Martin Calendar for A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE.\n

Good news to share:<\/p>\n

1. This blog and my website is currently being redesigned by Paul Vaughn<\/a> and I\u2019ll have a more organized cyber home this summer. Looking forward to that. Thanks for everyone\u2019s patience.<\/p>\n

2. I\u2019m a Hugo Awards finalist<\/a> for the sixth consecutive year! Could not be more grateful and I\u2019m excited to be on such an amazing ballot. You can decide this year\u2019s Hugo Awards winners by voting. It\u2019s easy. Here\u2019s how<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3. I\u2019m a Locus Awards finalist<\/a> this year in the Artist category \u2014 my fifth consecutive year as a top-5 finalist. I won the award in 2007. Very grateful to be amongst this year\u2019s nominees!<\/p>\n

4. Just announced this weekend \u2014 I won this year\u2019s Asimov\u2019s Readers Award in the Cover Artist category! My September 2009 cover art was the one that did it. Lisa Goldstein\u2019s story \u201cAway From Here\u201d inspired the illustration (cover pictured here). It\u2019s my second consecutive year as winner in the category (tied last year with Tomasz Maronski). Again, thanks to all of the Asimov\u2019s readers for their kind consideration!
