<\/p>\"\"<\/a>Wow. Two great finds today. Discovered a site called Paintalicious<\/a> which spotlights various mixed-media artists. Can\u2019t believe I\u2019d never heard of this site before! Worth checking out regularly.\n

The other great find \u2014 Inspiring stuff for anyone toiling in the art trenches\u2026Paintalicious has a post<\/a> featuring seven quotes from the Man himself, Pablo Picasso. (Above photo \u2014 a classic by Gjon Mili.)<\/p>\n

1. \u201cHe can who thinks he can, and he can\u2019t who thinks he can\u2019t. This is an inexorable, indisputable law.\u201d<\/p>\n

2. \u201cI am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

3. \u201cInspiration exists, but it has to find us working.\u201d<\/p>\n

4. \u201cOnly put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone.\u201d<\/p>\n

5. \u201cOthers have seen what is and asked why. I have seen what could be and asked why not.\u201d<\/p>\n

6. \u201cIf only we could pull out our brain and use only our eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n

7. \u201cYouth has no age.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paintalicious also include a couple other Picasso quotes, and this last one is too good: \u201cSome painters transform the sun into a yellow spot, others transform a yellow spot into the sun.\u201d<\/p>\n
