McAllister\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Girl-Who-Loved-Animals-Stories\/dp\/1930846495\">THE GIRL WHO LOVED ANIMALS<\/a> is amongst Graham Sleight\u2019s Top Five Books of the Year, according to his Year-End Round-Up in the latest issue of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.locusmag.com\/\">Locus Magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>* Congrats to Lou Anders, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pyrsf.com\/\">Pyr<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Fast-Forward-Future-Fiction-Cutting\/dp\/1591024862\/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1202242148&amp;sr=1-1\">FAST FORWARD 1<\/a>. An amazing FIVE stories from FF1 will appear in David G. Hartwell and Kathryn Cramer\u2019s YEAR\u2019S BEST SF 13. Wow! In addition to several nods on this year\u2019s Locus Recommended Reading List (including Nick Gevers selecting it as one of the very best anthos of \u201906), Bookgasm.com says: \u201c\u2026so good that I suggest Pyr wait a year and republish it with the title BEST SCIENCE FICTION OF 2007.
