<\/p>The Association of Science Fiction & Fantasy Artists (ASFA)\u2019s 2007 Chesley Awards Suggestions List is here<\/a>. The awards will be handed out in Yokohama, Japan at this year\u2019s Worldcon. \n

Thrilled to see Lou Anders<\/a> of Pyr<\/a> listed amongst the possible contenders for Best Art Director, along with Irene Gallo<\/a> of Tor Books and Matt Adelsperger<\/a> of Wizards of the Coast. Lou\u2019s job title at Pyr is \u201cEditorial Director,\u201d but he sheperds the cover art process as well and from the get-go, he\u2019s developed a diverse and provocative lineup of cover art for Pyr. Very glad to see him getting some acknowledgement in this department.<\/p>\n

$\"\"$ <\/a>Two of my cover illustrations are included on this year\u2019s list. In the Best Cover Illustration \u2014 Paperback Book category, there\u2019s my cover for Walter M. Miller, Jr.\u2019s classic A CANTICLE FOR LEIBOWITZ (Eos).<\/p>\n

$\"\"$ <\/a>And in the Best Cover Illustration \u2014 Magazine category, there\u2019s my cover for INTERZONE #204 (May\/June 2006).<\/p>\n
